"I've learned that short-short skirts are not the way to go. I went through that phase at 13, so I never need to go there again!" she declares.
Regarding her past adventures in hair color, the starlet admits, "I had burgundy hair, which was frightening. And I had light brown hair with light blond highlights. It looked so bad."
Hudgens has clearly worked out all her hair issues. For the shoot, she goes from sleek strands to tousled tresses flawlessly (below). And when styling her own mane, she relies on the numerous tools at her disposal. "I've got a Chi ceramic flattening iron, four curling irons in different sizes, and at least two blow-dryers. One stays in the suitcase," she says, adding that Jennifer Lopez is her beauty icon.
