Alexa Chung isn't just busy fulfilling her host duties for MTV's "It's On with Alexa Chung," the British "it" girl is keeping up with her modeling gigs as the face of DKNY Jeans' Fall 2009 campaign.

Shot by Scott Schuman, the same street-style photographer that captured Hilary Duff's new Femme for DKNY Jeans line, the ads feature Chung looking quite the NYC fashionista (right) in a belted black trench coat, black leather pants and black clutch.

The 25-year-old star replaces another Brit, Daisy Lowe, as the new face of the brand. (Not to worry, Lowe is doing just fine, recently landing a gig for Anna Sui.)

There were early worries that MTV's U.S. audience might not take to Chung's dry British humor, but it appears the transported Londoner is holding her own just fine.
