Harper's Bazaar is on a makeover rampage. First, the magazine upped CNN anchor Christiane Amanpour's fashion ante in its August issue.

Now, the fashion bible has taken on Susan Boyle! The "Britain's Got Talent" dark horse has been totally transformed, as StyleList predicted she would be -- her new look is stately, refined and well, very Michelle Obama.

For the September issue, the magazine styled Boyle in some of the First Lady's favorite designers: a plum Michael Kors dress, sparkly necklace by J. Crew and black Giuseppe Zanotti pumps.

The reality star has slowly been going glam -- first taming her brows, next coloring her hair, then, last month on the "Today" show, Boyle revealed a more polished style from head-to-toe.

But her shoot with Harper's Bazaar has undoubtedly elevated her to the next level.

But the reality star was admittedly bewildered by her YouTube fame: "YouTube? What's that? A tube of candy? That was a shock. The YouTube thing was like a demolition ball. It was just overwhelming -- to find TV stations camped outside your door and phone ringing 24 hours a day."
