'Teen Choice Awards' 2009 - Where Short and Asymmetrical Ruled, as did 'Twilight,' Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears

2009's "Teen Choice Awards" saw the return of Britney Spears -- she took home the Ultimate Choice Award.

The honor was presented by none other than big winner of the night, Miley Cyrus, who won six awards (and changed outfits twice).

"Twilight" swept with 11 surfboards -- and the vampy stars didn't look too shabby either!

But, of course, the real excitement happened on the red carpet, where all the pretty young things strutted their stuff in the most fashionable frocks. Okay, so some were a little questionable. Check them out below and judge for yourself.

Did anyone else notice how long their hair was??? It's like celeb standards are different that real people standards. Maybe I need to pull a Repunzal.

Miley often uses hair extentions. Spending money on your hair usually pays off bigtime, but it will cost you $100 a month. Only worth it if it gets you taken out four times a month.

Why are the reporters copying each other in their reporting of the awards totals? They put all the Robert Pattinson and Twilight award together to equal 11, but don't put Miley's(6) together with Hannah Montana's Emily osment and Billy Ray Cyrus's to equal 8?
