Vanity Fair's best-dressed trendsetter started off with a reception for newly sworn-in Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor at the White House.
Mrs. O looked chic and summery in a pleated white and black polka-dotted full skirt with matching twist-top tank, both by Jason Wu, and a light cyan blue short-sleeve cardigan.
We've seen this outfit before, when the First Lady chatted with Sarah Brown in London back in June, but this time she skipped the belt and opted for an Erickson Beamon brooch (the same one she wore last August during the Democratic National Convention).
The style icon finished her look with a stack of turquoise, silver and cream beaded bracelets and her go-to black kitten heels.

The President rocked a (universally flattering) classic red power tie, while the First Lady opted for a slightly brighter shade in a fitted sheath and coordinating red belt.
She added a stack of diamond bangles and the same black kitten heels to complete her official look.
Once again, Michelle Obama was in a rewearing mood -- she chose the same red hot dress when leaving for Moscow earlier this summer.
Recycling twice in the same day? That's a stylish and practical example we could all stand to live by!
