The pop star who prides herself on her drag queen fashion is true to her word on gay culture. Lady Gaga wears nothing but her fame on her sleeve, posing nude on the cover of Out magazine's September issue.

The cover and multi-page spread, shot by Ellen Von Unwerth and styled by Gaga's personal stylist Nicola Formichetti, features the blond musician completely bare or in various bondage-inspired outfits posing with skeletons and coffins.

The 23-year old songstress née Stefani Germanotta dishes on her choreographed outfits and entrances: "'I'm a method actress,' she says proudly. 'I studied Stanislavski for six years.'"

And Gaga makes no qualms about posing for a gay culture magazine. She famously told Kanye West before deciding to tour with him this year, "'I just want to be clear before we decide to to do this together: I'm gay. My music is gay. My show is gay. And I love that it's gay. And I love my gay fans and they're all going to be coming to our show. And it's going to remain gay.'"

But what about critics doubting her talent or that her fame is nothing more than press-loving antics ? Lady Gaga tells Out, "'What I want to deliver, as a message about fame, is that anyone can have it. This isn't the Lady Gaga newscast. Nobody gives a sh-t what is really going on -- everyone wants me to tell them a story. Art is a lie, and every day I kill to make it true.'"

Watch for the "Gaga Gone Wild" cover to hit newstands on Aug. 21. The September issue also debuts a magazine redesign, as well as featuring Justin Timberlake talking scents and New York Times food writer Frank Bruni dishing on lessons from Mom.
