One minute, she's an average-sized gal who completes Jerry Maguire. Then, she's a pleasantly plump Bridget Jones.
And before you can say "Bradley Cooper" (her current flame), she's gone off and joined the Lollipop Head Guild with a bod so skinny she could hide behind Kate Moss!
Thankfully, it was a sculpted, healthier-looking Zellweger (far right) who turned up at Tuesday night's NYC premiere of her new film "My One and Only."
She looked svelte, but comparatively more filled out in a satin one-shoulder dress by Carolina Herrera -- the designer who helped her secure a spot on Vanity Fair's International Best Dressed List.
Contrast that to her skeletal look from a "Leatherheads" premiere back in April 2008 (above left). But given her imminent return to the big screen for the as-of-now vaguely titled "Bridget Jones Project," we can certainly expect more curves ahead. Let's just hope they're not followed by a crash diet-induced return to Sunken Cheek City.

Why do stars always look so perfect? Because they pay stylists (and personal trainers) tons of money! Need proof? Check out our gallery of celebs making public appearances before they hired professional help. First up -- Kate Winslet. At the 1998 Golden Globe Awards the Titanic star looked ghostly and plump in this unflattering lace dress. Reunited with Leo, the 33-year-old star looked trim and perfectly made up at the premiere of the duo's new film Revolutionary Road.

"Hey y'all! Which way to the Whitesnake concert?" Jessica Simpson seems to be asking in 2000, when she stepped out in a skin-tight snakeskin ensemble. Today, she looks sexy -- and stylish.
Knocked Up star Katherine Heigl is a knock-out today, but in 1995, Heigl was photographed on a red carpet in an unspeakable combo: nude shimmer hose with chunky, open-toe white sandals.

After bombing at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards in the rhinestone bra seen 'round the world, Britney Spears made a sexy comeback in 08: this time her sparkles came courtesy of Versace.

Shakira's hips don't lie, so they must have given her an earful when she put them on display in this belly-dancing pantsuit. Post-stylist, the Colombian superstar looks super-chic!
When she dressed herself in a slinky black dress and leather duster in 1998, Angelina Jolie seemed to have one inspiration -- Elvira! Ten years later, her team had little trouble outfitting her 8-months pregnant bod in black-tie perfection.

She may be the current epitome of classic glamour, but in 2001, Anne Hathaway's accessorizing skills were limited to matching her denim tote to her lace-up jeans.

From the looks of this halter horror and Dolly Parton 'do, Carrie Underwood was headlining barn dances before making it big on American Idol. Today, she's one of Hollywood's best-dressed young celebs.
Hay dios mio! Eva Longoria Parker's leather patchwork pantsuit (worn with nothing but a dreamcatcher necklace, natch) was the then-soap star's red carpet attire of choice in 2001. Today, the fiery fashionista is among Hollywood's most stylish stars.

Drew Barrymore always looks adorable, but her style back in 1993 -- channeling Gertie, her breakout character in ET -- was a tad too cute.
