A $24,720 Hair Cut? Only if You're the Sultan of Brunei
Behold! The $24,720 haircut! Seriously -- that cut. Photo: Getty Images
Daily Mail reports that the barber, who normally charges about $50 for a cut, has been attending to the Sultan's hair for 16 years, so that presumably means the Sultan would just swing by England whenever he needed a trim. I guess he couldn't squeeze it into his schedule this time around!
This outrageously pricey trim is now considered to be the most expensive haircut ever. Well, we should hope so!
We remember thinking that Sally Hershberger's $600 charge back in the early Nineties was scandalous. She now charges $800, as does Orlando Pita, and a cut with Ted Gibson will run you $950.
Now those prices seem like chump change.
It's not just haircuts that are getting crazy-expensive. Check out our thoughts on the $140 shampoo here!

I had been overweight for the past five years. I had tried almost everything in the market, right from taking diet pills to enrolling in a gym but nothing really worked. Yes I did lose a few pounds but nothing substantial. It was then that a friend recommended Acai Burn ( http://cli.gs/AcaiBurn ) to me. I have been using the product for about a month now and have slimmed down considerably. I have actually started to wear all those dresses that I had put off for so long. The product is definitely one of the best weight loss products in the market today. I have already finished two bottles of Acai Burn and am on my third bottle now. It totally changed my life! Not only did I lose a lot of weight quickly, I have also never felt more energetic and so full of life!
