Kirsten Dunst Gets Anime-Mated

We think she's turning Japanese, we think she's turning Japanese, we really think so.
Looking like she just stepped out of a manga comic, actress Kirsten Dunst got her Sailor Moon on in Tokyo's Akihabara Electric Town district for a video directed by McG (of "Terminator Salvation" fame).
Dunst's colorful anime-mated ensemble featured a Smurf blue wig, pale pink parasol, yellow-and-pink sailor girl top, rainbow tutu, hot pink heels with matching jewelry, and blue-and-white checked knee-highs.In other words, it's a far cry from her standard indie-chick-about-town look, usually punctuated by a tote bag, limp blonde locks, and Ray-Ban shades.
Still, Dunst seemed to enjoy prancing around in her Japanese-inspired duds, smiling on the set and skipping around merrily with parasol in hand. And dare we say that the blue hair works wonders for her fair complexion?
Who knows? Maybe Kiki's new look is just what she needs to launch a second career as one of Gwen Stefani's Harajuku Girls.
What do you think? Do you love her dramatic new look or is it lost in translation? Leave a comment!

that 'turning japanese' ditty that this referenced is really about masturbation, and is completely inappropriate for this sort of cotton-candy type article
