Well, when we think about it, there is more to it than how dangerous the dye is. For example, let's think about how dangerous it is to expose our young to society, and physical change to be noticed. I love it my son has the exact same hair cut. His hair is naturally blond but I did hilight it once. We dye the mohawk blue with manic panic semipermanent blue dye. He is 5 and thinks it's awesome! It's harmless. People need to relax.

Jamie, he most certainly was forced to have it done!! He is THREE, same age as my son, and he gets haircuts, baths, etc, when he is forced to do so, that is the nature of a THREE year old. That being said, its not dyed to the roots, so i dont think she actually would have burned his scalp, but it does burn your eyes having to sit there, its kind of sad to do that to a BABY.

did you ever think it was just a little lemon juice and sun? We used to do this as kids and i don't think that lemon juice is a harsh chemical. It certainly isn't child abuse. Get a life!
