What's a girl to do when she wants to look flirty and feminine, yet still sophisticated and chic? Wear Rebecca Taylor, of course!

The designer credits her mother for encouraging her to immerse herself in costuming for "ethereal ballet" and all things soft, tender and ladylike.

That Taylor has done. And quite successfully, we might add! Her a roster of loyal celeb fans includes Sarah Jessica Parker, Cameron Diaz and even former first daughter, Chelsea Clinton.

Taylor shares the inspiration for her upcoming Spring 2010 collection:

"Spring 2010 encompasses playful use of colors, prints and textures. The palette is intense with shades of big apple reds, shocking pinks, electric blues, and retro jades contrasted with desert tans and soft, peachy oranges."
Expect floral print bustiers, boyfriend blazers over cashmere tops, all paired with tastefully done minis. And, it seems the towering shoe trend isn't going away. The skyscraper sandal you loved this past season will continue on Taylor's runway, with a new patterned twist.

We can't wait to see the finished product later this month at New York Fashion Week! Is it too early to make our list of must-haves for next spring?
