We thought the Snuggie craze had pretty much gone away. Summer sort of kills the whole need to wear a blanket around the house, or even to a pub crawl, vibe. In fact, we were sort of betting that Winkers would be the new bizarre-sort-of-fashion-but-definitely-weird fad of the moment.

But, lo and behold, just when you were ready to turn your open back on the wearable blanket, the Snuggie claws its way right back to the infomercial/pop culture limelight with a runway show during New York Fashion Week.

StyleList got our hands on Snuggie's Fashion Week invitation. Debuting its fall 2009-winter 2010 collection (!), the invite promises "new looks, new sizes, some real surprises."

Set to take place Sept. 15, the show will feature the following visuals: Ross "the Intern" Matthews, Snuggie-clad models and a Fashion Week-style runway.

And, yes, we promptly sent in our RSVP.
