An appointment with hair styling icon Sally Hershberger (whose long list of A-list clients includes Meg Ryan, Renée Zellweger and Julia Roberts) will run you $800 (no joke!).

Luckily, the newest product from her namesake styling line is designed to give you a perfect shiny blowout and enhance any cut and hair type -- and it'll only cost you $18.

Sally Hershberger Luxe Layers Protective Blow Out Gel (available exclusively on HSN) makes hair straight and frizz-free, with enough hold to last until the second or third day, and it shields hair from damage.

"It's so easy because you can prolong your blow dry and protect your hair from heat," Hershberger explains to StyleList. "But it's not heavy -- it gives hair swing."

Hershberger, who is known for sexy layered cuts with a lot of texture, kept traditional oils and silicones out of the formula so hair would be silky but still have movement.

"You get body and shine," she told us. "And I don't know what other product does that. The hair still has 'guts.' It's not that flat, too-soft hair where you can't do anything to it."
