INSPIRATION: Abstract expressionism meets boho hippie chic

TOP LOOKS: Lots of dresses with T-shirt-style jersey; purple ruched side dress; white crepe dress with sparkly, beaded back.

ACCESSORIES: Lots of gold or silver minaudieres and black high strappy sandals. Minimal makeup.

WHO WAS THERE: Amanda Bynes, Solange Knowles

WHAT WE THOUGHT: A definite Eighties vibe, with kaleidoscopic colors, sheer cut-outs and intricate paneling. While an assortment of dresses featured green, blue and yellow paint prints, it was really the solids that worked best.

Fans of the Herve Leger bandage dress will be happy to learn that designer Max Azria (who also owns Herve Leger) came up with similar cut-to-there jersey versions that are sure to be at a more reasonable price point.
