You better have nice under garments if you're gonna wear Bagir EcoGir's see-through suit to drum up publicity at New York Fashion Week. Photo: Richard Drew, AP
Sky-high heels, hair that took a blueprint to build, mismatched prints -- you'll find it all here.
But today's show attendees and 6th Avenue passersby got a gander of what could be a Fashion Week first -- a man wearing a see-through suit.
A promotion for Israeli-based manufacturer Bagir EcoGir, an eco-friendly company, sent two men to the tents -- one in a regular black suit, one showing off his tighty-whities in a clear suit made from recycled plastic bottles.
We think the black socks -- with garters -- were a particularly nice touch. Perhaps they'll take a turn on fall's runways next season? Let's hope not.
Here's a company making recycled neckties -- a little more tasteful than this revealing recycled suit.
