THE SCOOP: "Ballerina Street" was the catch phrase at Charlotte Ronson. Or as Willer put it: "The prettiness of a ballerina merged with the tough cool of a New York girl." Which resulted in fresh, clean makeup. "Because cool means not wearing too much makeup," she added. Hair was twisted into messy chignons, full of "wispy imperfections," as Barrow put it (so poetically!).
GET THE LOOK - MAKEUP: All makeup by Maybelline. Skin was perfected with Mineral Powder Foundation, and eyes and cheeks were played up with lots of pinky shimmer: Mineral Illuminator in Pink and Gentle Pink Rose. Lips were supple with pink lipstick, and lashes popped with black New Pulse Mascara.
GET THE LOOK - HAIR: Hair was spritzed with Avon's Volumizing Spray for extra lift and blown dry towards the top of the head, so the roots dried in an upward motion. Hair was then twisted and pinned into a messy bun.
