BEAUTY SNAPSHOT: Warrior woman
THE SCOOP: Inspired by the bold and futuristic tone of Nicole Miller's collection, the M.A.C. makeup artists focused on creating a real warrior woman look. "I wanted to create a woman who pushed the boundaries and wasn't overly obsessed with being pretty and done-up," said M.A.C. artist James Kaliardos.
Eyebrows were strong and thick. To keep focus on the strong features of the face, skin was dusted with neutral blush, lips were a pale, dusty pink and eyeliner was a slate gray instead of heavy black. The hair was slightly futuristic and functional with an asymmetrical side pony pulled back with a lot of volume on the top.
