Runway Review - Wayne

DESIGNER: Wayne

INSPIRATION: The minimalist sculptures of Richard Serra translated into dreamy draping and sharp tailoring

TOP LOOKS:
Ruched asymmetrical cut-out dresses; mesh patchwork leggings; severely cut blazers sans lapels

ACCESSORIES:
Slouchy hobo bags; zippered fanny packs; sculpted silver and gold rings and cuff bracelets molded from one piece of metal à la Serra

WHAT WE THOUGHT: Cool clothes for girls with banging bodies -- everything is very body-conscious -- and an artsy sensibility. The Grecian drapery trend of recent seasons gets an upgrade with sexy cut-outs and new fabrications.

And it looks like after this season, plain black leggings are going to seem such a bore. Wayne's patchwork mesh versions are sure standouts.
