THE SCOOP:
Luca Luca has gathered a cult following for its use of fine fabrics and bright colors. And for Spring 2010, creative director Raul Melgoza poured these elements into a Seventies-inspired collection, with hair and makeup adding a subtle sophistication to the designs.

Teddy Charles was influenced by the springy movement of "organic curls." Armed with hairspray, bobby pins, a curling iron, and comb, the Frenchman created a mass of teased, loose spirals.

James Kaliardos pulled in shades of pink from the collection for a look that was soft and pretty, throwing in an unexpected messiness with thickly, lined eyes.

GET THE LOOK - HAIR:
Curl the hair tightly and pin down onto the scalp. Release the curls and tease with a rat tail comb up towards the roots. Set hair with Redken Workforce 09 Flexible Volumizing Hair Spray.

GET THE LOOK - MAKEUP
: All by MAC. Kaliardos applied Studio Sculpt SPF 15 Foundation with a tapered edge brush - handy for getting even coverage and working product into hairline. Blushcreme in Uncommon recreates a natural shadow and adds warmth to cheeks without looking bruised. Eye Shadow in Bone Beige is swept over lids and lashes are curled for a flirty, girly effect. Kaliardos' secret weapon for lining eyes: a concealer brush. It's tapered edge is perfect for darkening with Paint Stick Pro's Black Black. And to finish, Blushcreme in Posey is painted onto lips for a "consistent and sophisticated" pout.
