THE SCOOP: The simple structure of the clothing in Tibi's Spring 2010 collection allowed the brand's signature bright color palette to do the talking. When it came to the makeup, Brown was tasked with choosing one feature to do the talking, and she decided against the mouth; "We used technicolor shadow on the eyes, and left the rest of the face nude," she said. "It's a challenge to use bold color and keep it pretty," she elaborated, "which is why it's key to choose one feature to concentrate the color."

Ryan used brightly colored scraps of fabric in the hair, gathering it in a long loop and twisting the fabric for a tethered effect that was inspired by Samurais. "When a woman puts her hair up herself, it looks better," he said. "It's haphazard and not placed exactly right."

GET THE LOOK - MAKEUP: Brown used bright yellow shadow under the brows, bright pink coral on the lids, Bobbi Brown Black Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner on the top lids, bright green liner along the bottom lash line, and lots of Bobbi Brown Extreme Party Mascara on both top and bottom lashes. cheeks were warmed with Bobbi Brown Coral Pot Rouge, placed high on the cheekbones, and lips stayed neutral with Lipstick in Nude.

GET THE LOOK - HAIR: After winding and wrapping the hair, Ryan raked his fingertips through the top of the hair with a little gel to leave "little, undone track-marks."
