WHO WAS THERE: Michael Douglas (shopping for the missus?) and Melania Trump

WHAT WE THOUGHT: Perhaps after spending all this time on Project Runway judging the designer-of-tomorrow, Kors has developed a new perspective on his own line. It felt like there was an edgy air of freshness to this collection - a youthful injection of sorts - from the cool v-neck sweaters with one-shoulder cut-outs to the black crepe suit with exposed zippers.

The pièces de résistance were the mod dresses that featured clear plastic Pypex cutouts in strategic places to reveal the slashes of skin. Of course for the ladies who lunch, there were also pretty watercolor printed pants and frocks in muted tones.

It felt like there was a little something for every one of Kors gals.
