Obamas in Washington DC for awards dinner

Alongside the president, Mrs. Obama had a Friday filled with hosting international dignitaries in Pittsburgh. But the next day, the official duo returned to Washington, DC in black-tie style for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's Annual Phoenix Awards Dinner.

For the special occasion, the First Lady went with Jason Wu, the designer behind her Inaugural Ball gown, in a black knee-length cocktail dress with lace overlay worn with simple black heels.

The LBD was just the thing for the celebratory night.
