Topshop has tapped Fast for its latest designer collaboration, reports InStyle UK.
As it turns out, Topshop has long been a supporter of the Canadian designer (Fast won Topshop's NEWGEN award for emerging designers), and actually closed the designer collaboration deal with him before his controversial runway show, reports the source.
But using real-size models might also have been a smart business decision for the designer -- Fast's signature skin-tight knits have previously only been offered at chic boutique outlets, but will soon be available to the masses via the Mark Fast for Topshop collection.
With designers/models like Richard Nicoll and Kate Moss also designing for Topshop, Fast isn't only in fashionable company, but it looks like sticking to his principles has paid off, too.
How's that for good karma!
Along with designer collaborations, Topshop also has its own trend-making, in-house label. Check out Topshop Unique's London Fashion Week looks.
