This fall, the ALDO Fights AIDS (AFA) initiative, which helps educate and protect young lives from infection in more than 60 countries, enters it's fourth year of operation.
AFA -- a partnership between ALDO and YouthAIDS -- debuts three limited-run reusable tote bags: "Getting Lost," "In the City," and "Jukebox."
The drawings on the totes were created by the ALDO design team and inspired by the notion of unity and the desire to help. Additionally, each image corresponds to a chapter of "Our Last Adventure," a story written by author Vivian Ralickas about the memory of a loved one who passed away.
"For every tote bag sold, ALDO and YouthAIDS will be able to provide one young person with the information and tools they need to protect themselves from HIV for up to six months," said YouthAIDS Founder Kate Roberts.
Each tote retails for $10.00 with 100% of the net proceeds benefiting YouthAIDS and are available now at ALDO stores and aldoshoes.com.
