President Obama and Mrs. O might have extremely busy schedules, but the power couple made time this past weekend to celebrate their 17th wedding anniversary.

Sticking close to home, the Obamas had a romantic dinner at Blueduck Tavern in Washington, D.C.

Michelle looked gorgeous (see below) in a simple black halter dress and Jimmy Choo "Lantern" heels, which she topped off with a cobalt blue clutch and her signature stack of bangles.

For more of the First Lady's fashionable choices, click through the gallery.

Similar to the watercolor prints we saw on the Spring 2010 runway, Michelle Obama (pictured here with IOC President Jacques Rogge) wears a swirl blue patterned skirt and jacket, cinched at the waist with a navy velvet belt. The First Lady adds a metallic touch with gold kitten heels.

Awww isn't that SPECIAL!
NOT.
I'd like to say something nice about MO but this gushing fawning exaggerated over-blown crap stylelist continues to vomit out about her fashion sense prohibits me. I won't go along with your bullsh!t about thie way this woman dresses. I will say that she is looking better these days but still can really blow it.
The Obamas are SO out of touch with The People and have turned the USA into a joke with the rest of the world!
The EGO has landed!

I'm pretty sure Mrs. O yes I said it Mrs. O could give a rats a$$ what a back woods, buck tooth, banjo picking, barefoot, trashy, hillbilly thinks about her. Its funny you clowns hate her and her husband so much but sat by while our great ( I us this work sarcastically for the slow people) president took 8 years to screw this country a few trillion dollars into a great depression I'm pretty sure the county can give a flying pluck what you think. If don't like her don't read the damn article it's that simple.

Note to TISA; It only took Nobama 100 days to spend more than Bush did in 8 years with the promise of more than doubling that figure. As for Michelle, she still looks like a transvestite!!!

Get over it. Obama won. You are the one who's out of touch. We love the Obamas and hope that they get done everything they came to DC to do. Compared to the war-mongering do-nothing we tolerated for 8 years, these two are a breath of fresh air!

You have serious anger issues. No matter what Michelle wore, you would complain. Why don't you just tell the truth? You can't stand that we have a black president and first lady. Come on! Just admit it!

I was lucky enough to never have been overweight in my life. That all ended after the birth of my second child. I got down to 20 pounds over my normal weight but no matter what I did I couldn't lose the rest. I didn't know if was age catching up with me or if somehow my metabolism changed. Whatever the reason, nothing was working. I tried all the bogus "diet" pills that we see all over the internet, but are just scams. All I ever lost with that stuff was money. One of my friends, knowing what I was going through, told me that she had been losing weight using a special plan http://bit.ly/FatLoss4You It laid out the facts in a way I never saw before and had easy to follow meal plans and diets. Not only have I lost the weight and kept it off but I'm leading a healthier lifestyle, mostly from the knowledge I gained from this amazing program.

omg, people. Where are your manners? Just b/c you don't like our president or his wife doesn't mean you need to be nasty and stoop to the level of a 4th grader. Grow up and act like adults. You're not in high school. Calm down. Remember, use your manners. Damn.

I agree with you. These so called adults are silly as kindergarten kids. You show no respect for the first lady. It's not about her clothes and how would you know about Crisco unless you used some yourself? I find You people so obnoxious. So what you cant stand the idea of a Half Nigerian and Half Caucausian in the WHITE house, that's privy, but don't rub your hatred everytime you see an article, just click your mouse and shut your ignorant mouths.

Are you kidding me? All of her dresses are the same; all cinched in some way. The yellows are ghastly. She should wear longer dresses so we don't have to look at her, not so attractive, legs. I am being very kind here. The dress she wore to host the G20 was ugly and had no redeeming quality. How can anyone compare her with Jackie O? She is too big a woman to wear the clothes she wears. Again, covering her legs would be a smart move.

Hey Unije, you are just jealous. Get a life. You have a Black President. It was God's will. HE made all of us. I didn't particularly care for Mr. Bush or his political dealings but I always respected him and the office. And never did I say such horrible things about Mrs. Bush. You are evil.

All of you are ignorant haters. thank god this country has more people that get that than don't - as evidenced by the fact that Obama is in office. Do something with yourselves. Life is too short to be that f*cking miserable.

Just because an individual is in office does not mean that they deserve respect, this has been evident with many politicians over the years.

THIS GREAT COUNTRY OF OURS IS IN TROUBLE and every time we turn around the Obama's are spending money like it is water. But hey what is tax paying dollars amongst friends.

Prior to the election Michele made it very clear that she was not proud of this country, what a slap in the face to the American people and those men and women at war.

Racisim is alive and well in America. You people make me sick with you nasty sick comments about our first lady. Mrs. Obama is not writing these fashion articles she is just living her life and the media chooses to report on her every move and change of dress. Leave her the hell alone and worry about your own miserable lives.
