Van Cleef & Arpels New iPhone App - Brings You Paris à la Touchscreen

The "A Day in Paris by Van Cleef & Arpels" app for the iPhone and iPod Touch offers a unique and romantic insight into the city of lights -- and lets you browse dazzling diamonds in the process, of course.
After tapping on a red balloon to launch the application, you're given a few different options and you'll find a map with five different popular areas, including the Place de l'Etoile and the Place de Bastille.
Tap on either of these to take a journey through the city, with the choice to travel via a map or to watch a short, beautifully shot film. Poetic Places lets you select a destination on the map or from an array of thumbnail pictures along the bottom of the screen to get both historical and practical information, for example you can learn all about Le Jules Verne, the restaurant on the second floor of the Eiffel Tower.
Tap on the "I" button in the lower right-hand corner to get an address, phone number and Google Map, or "Area" to share it all on Facebook.
Of course Van Cleef & Arpels doesn't mind taking you on a guided tour of the City of Lights as long as you promise to stop by and ogle the iconic jeweler's newest collection, also named Une Journée à Paris. The app makes it easy to peruse 10 stunning pieces in the two lines, 'Romance in Paris' and 'Wednesday in Paris' as well as help you find the nearest store. (Hint, hint; Nudge, nudge)
The international app is available in English, Chinese, French, Japanese and Korean and you'll need to be connected to WiFi to download it. And best of all, it's free! Can't say the same for the bling bling.
