The fashion designer took a break from creating gorgeous, celeb-favored looks to put her stylish touch on a limited edition bottle for the French liquor company Cointreau.
The bottle, which makes a very fashionable holiday hostess gift, is festooned with an all-American theme, including the Statue of Liberty and a smattering of stars. Conveniently, it will debut before Thanksgiving.
The French designer is known for giving a shout out to the land of the free (see her iconic flag dress), so her Americana approach is not a real surprise.
The design also boasts Malandrino's signature. And now for her signature drink...
The aptly named "Madame Liberty" cocktail (created for Catherine Malandrino by master mixologist Dale DeGroff):
1 oz. Cointreau
Splash of fresh blood orange juice
Piper Sonoma or Piper-Heidsieck Brut Rose Champagne
Serve in a champagne flute and garnish with an orange twist
