"Something a little bit less disconnected and drastic," he said, without hesitation.
StyleList: So, more like a bob or a shag? Something totally different?
"No, I like it," Ken replied. "A little bit more fluid, a little bit softer, a little bit more feminine. I think she's beautiful and she has a great figure after 8 kids!"
And how does Jessica keep her hair so fabulous with all of the constant processing?
"Not washing [her] hair as often, good shampoo and conditioner," he told StyleList. "I also love Moroccan Oil, olive oil is an amazing conditioner."
But luck also has something to do it, as Ken cites Jessica's "girl-next-door tangibility" as the key to her great hair.
"That's her hair, we don't try to make it anything it's not, it's just really beautiful, flowy hair."
How lucky is that?
"I use my extensions on everybody, you know--Jennifer Lopez, Eva Longoria, I do some great things for Gaga, Victoria Beckham, all my girls. I pull out all the stops!
The event, which Simpson hosted, was a big success for benefitting Breast Cancer awareness. "Both my grandmothers suffered from Breast Cancer. One was a survivor and one wasnt," Jessica told QVC correspondent and "Tim Gunn's Guide to Style" co-host Grechen Monahan.
So when QVC approached Simpson with the idea of a charity shoe sale, she jumped at the chance. "I mean, I'll make a shoe for it, of course! This is everything I'm about."
