Look for Less: Natalie Portman
If there's one starlet that consistently channels her inner Audrey Hepburn, it's Natalie Portman. How does she do it? By sticking with a few well-proportioned classics -- like a great fall jacket or a pretty cocktail dress -- and keeping the accessories minimal and sleek. Classic fashion is not the only thing these two legendary actresses have in common. Much like her stylish "Breakfast at Tiffany's" predecessor, Portman is releasing her own homage to the city today, a collection of vignettes entitled "New York, I Love You." - By Rachel Felder

Look for Less: Natalie Portman

When it comes to a great fall look, it doesn't get more effortlessly chic than a crisp navy topper and an easy pair of pants. To give basics like this an updated twist, be sure to include a few pieces with standout details, like Natalie's bright green scarf, delicately-flowered blouse, and jacket with vintage-inspired buttons.

Even if you're not heading to a movie premiere, a strapless mini-dress in a bold, colorful print makes sure you'll always be center stage. To keep the look refined, choose a couple subdued accessories such as a pair neutral heels and some soft, dangling earrings.

I do agree. Some black leggins or some black flat shoes? I dunno maybe a black simple heels. The nude totally washes out her lower body. I love the dress on her because not too many people can pull off that look.

Natalie portman is way too thin. Her bony shoukders and stick arms prevent her from being pretty and i hope she corrects it. if Calista Flockhart-(who was REALLY pathetic)-can add a little padding to look better than Natalie certainly can! Please don't tell me she's "healthy"--celebrities must look good on camera and she don't!

Natalie is one of the few who is NOT overly thin. How can you
look at this pic, and call her arms "stick" and her shoulders
"bony"? She IS petite, but she hardly looks anorexic as you
seem to imply. Her thighs/legs are full (unlike many female
celebrities), she is just petite. Petite is not "way too thin",
its just not Amazonian. There are other actresses that
would fit the description you gave, but it doesn't apply to
Natalie at all. I'll bet you are quite overweight, and resent
those who aren't. Bony shoulders.........how idiotic. Why
don't you go finish your 4th helping, and stop insulting
everyone's intelligence.

Natalie Portman can wear anything she wants, from a classic dress to jeans and a baseball cap, and she looks perfectly radiant. She has the greatest smile, a positive personality, loves animals, is smart, and well, you get the picture. I always think of her when I hear those: "if you could have one day/night, or whatever with one person, who would it be?" Maybe she'll read this and my dream will come true. ;)

DEAR FRANKIE, YOU HIT THE NAIL! I THINK YOUR COMMENT STANDS WAY ABOVE THE OTHERS. I'M 69 YO AND TO ME MS PORTMAN LOOKS AT THE CAMERA WITH A LOOK IN HER EYES, A PERFECT POSTURE, NEATLY DRESSED AND LOOKING VERY FLATTERING, LIKE SHE WANTS TO SAY: I HAVE ARRIVED-WATCH ME!!
mY WIFE OF 59 YO IS ALSO PRETTY TO ME AND SHE IS NO BEAUTY, WE TAKE CARE OF EACH OTHERS.
MS PORTMAN WILL BE A GREAT, MATURE COMPANION TO SOME LUCKY MAN.
I TAKE MY SPOUSE TO SEE HER IN A FLICK ANYTIME AND AFTERWARDS HAVE A NICE MEAL. TAKE CARE Y'ALL.

A couple comments: 1) To all the spammers: Go away. I now know what SCAM sites to avoid. And I reported each and every spam post also. The worst one IMO is the colon cleanse crap, that is a pure scam and also a dangerous product. Only an idiot would order from any of the spam sites, but that one is the worst. 2) To alschrod: I disagree with your assessment of Natalie Portman specfically. I do agree that many celebrities do take "thin" too seriously and many of them are too skinny. But Natalie Portman has a petite frame, she won't be curvy no matter what you do unless she gets obese, and then she'd look frumpy and not be healthy. But yes, I do agree that there are many celebrities that are too thin, they don't have a small frame or petite bone structure like she does and yet get very skinny. That never looks good and is probably about as unhealthy as being obese in many ways.

Yo Nat:

You've had some decent roles and are a fair actress. Don't try come across as a sex symbol or something. You are okay looking but thats it. The odd football shaped head, big knees, average (at best) legs, marginal chest and all that don't make you very attractive or a sex symbol. Don't confuse the acting gig with what you think you are to men. Good actress but no sex symbol.

Natalie is beautiful AND SHE CAN ACT. And has done so in many films. From the very first movie I saw her in, The Professional, she has proven her craft. She alone can carry a film. Very few in the business are here to stay - or should be.

I don't mind the colors of the dress, but the cut of it just seems really unflattering to me. It's making her legs look huge.
