The Cookie Diet - Can Oreos Beget Skinny Jeans?

The Cookie Diet is a recent diet phenomenon, but lose those thoughts of munching on Mint Milano's and Chips Ahoy while watching "Sex and the City" reruns.

The Cookie Diet is not as sweet and simple as it sounds.

The Cookie Diet is based on the fact that feeling hungry and craving sweets are the two main reasons people break their diet regimes. But instead of eating Oreo Double Stuffs, you're replacing breakfast and lunch with nutritious cookies that are meant to be meal replacements (they are made with fiber, protein, and other ingredients designed to keep you full.)

The Cookie Diet cookies are relatively tasty and they contain no drugs or secret ingredients, but are made of amino acids that work to suppress hunger.

You can take your pick from several cookie diet plans and a variety of cookie flavors. The most popular "Cookie Diets" are Dr. Siegal's Cookie Diet, the Hollywood Cookie Diet, and the Smart for Life Cookie Diet.

While on the Cookie Diet, you eat cookies all day long, except for dinner, which is simple lean protein and veggies. This trendy weight loss fad has allegedly helped hundreds of Cookie Diet followers lose weight.

But will it help us fit into our skinny jeans? The jury is still out.

Does anyone really believe that you can lose weight in the long run by eating cookies? What kind of nutritional value do cookies have?
I was lucky enough to never have been overweight in my life. That all ended after the birth of my second child. I got down to 20 pounds over my normal weight but no matter what I did I couldn't lose the rest. I didn't know if was age catching up with me or if somehow my metabolism changed. Whatever the reason, nothing was working. I tried all the bogus "diet" pills that we see all over the internet, but are just scams. All I ever lost with that stuff was money. One of my friends, knowing what I was going through, told me that she had been losing weight using a special plan at this web site ( weightlossoptionsreview.com ) It laid out the facts in a way I never saw before and had easy to follow meal plans and diets. Not only have I lost the weight and kept it off but I'm leading a healthier lifestyle, mostly from the knowledge I gained from this amazing program. weightlossoptionsreview.com

I have met people who have been on the cookie diet at smartforlife.com. They seem to really like it and it has worked for them. I don't know if that helps anyone. I have tasted both cookie diet stuff from smartforlife.com and Dr. Seigals. Smartforlife.com is better.

I can't believe people are actually believing in the cookie diet. Well, I guess since cookies sound great to dieters I can.

It's a shame they are called "cookies" because it turns so many people off. Truth is, they are very nutritional and not a fad. They are a simple meal-replacement "cookie" that completely elliminates hunger AND cravings. I lost 50 lbs on the R&D Diet Cookie almost two years ago and I have kept them off with no problem. Some of us need that extra tool that helps us get control of our eating. Yes, it is a fast weight loss but that helps keep you motivated. Again, some of us can't commit to the "just changes your eating habits" mentality. If it was that easy, we would all be skinny! The cookies are designed to get on them, lose the weight quickly, then get off them. You don't stay on them forever. I chose R&D Diet Cookies because they are a small company that doesn't have all the bells and whistles that jack up the price. They cost much less and I think they taste better than all the others.
