Blake Lively's Angel Ball 2009 Mishap

The Angel Ball 2009 event, held last night at Cipriani Wall Street in NYC, was a star studded affair to benefit Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research.

Stars like Jennifer Hudson, Blake Lively and Penn Badgley were decked out and ready to party (Angel Ball 2009 tapped DJ Cassidy to get the stars moving), but it was Blake Lively who stole the show -- and not for the usual reason.

The statuesque "Gossip Girl" star, who wore a Victoria Beckham black mini and Christian Louboutin heels, had a peculiar situation going on with her chest.

Upon closer inspection, she appeared blotchy, as if she was peeling from a bad sunburn, or possibly had tried to conceal a few spots on her chest with too-light coverup.

Whatever it was, we're certain Blake Lively (and her makeup artist) won't let it happen again.
