Lauren Conrad became famous through stints on MTV reality shows like "Laguna Beach" and "The Hills."

These days, the young fashion designer gets press on her own, as she's out and about at events like last night's Avon gala at Cipriani in New York City.

I think the red she is wearing is fabulous and avon lipsticks in general are so creamy and inexpensive. I love the Avon 14 carat lipsticks which actually have flecks of gold that shimmer in them.

This cannot be a news story and calling Lauren Conrad a "tv star" is a stretch. If she wore tight pants would it be the showing ass look or if she wore sweats would it be the cleaning up her house look? As Keyshawn Johnson would say... "C'mon man!"
