Emanuel Ungaro Spring 2010

Ungaro's new dream team: "chief designer" Estrella Archs and platinum blonde "artistic advisor" Lindsay Lohan (in some of her freebie Ungaro duds).

We can totally picture Lindsay in this itsy-bitsy bandeau top paired with '80s print white leggings.

A bubble gum pink and fuchsia bandage dress worn with slicked-back hair and bright red lips that recall those guitar-strumming "Addicted to Love" chicks.

Heart-shaped sequined pasties run amok for Ungaro Spring 2010, stuck on model's foreheads and breasts.

Hello, spring! A neon pink tuxedo jacket worn with heavily ruched carrot-colored leggings and a cut-off ponytail worn as a clutch?

A conservative "I Dream of Jeanie" getup that we're not sure we'll ever see Lohan stepping out in.

Is it fall or is it spring? Can't really tell. This one-armed dress was actually one of the most elegant in the collection.

All she needs is a bottle of Pepto-Bismol as an accessory.

The baggy skirt-pants (skants?), two-tone jacket and gathered bandeau complete with heart detail, an obvious nod to Moschino with a dash of Giorgio Armani.

Seems it's not just the press that's been hating on the Spring 2010 Emanuel Ungaro collection, in which Lindsay Lohan played the role of artistic advisor for the first (and maybe last time).

Mr. Ungaro declared the collaboration a "disaster" during a meeting with the public at the international film festival in Estoril, Portugal, reports The Independent.

According to the paper, Mr. Ungaro said: "I am furious, but I can't do anything about it." He was referring to the collection of heart pasties and skin tight dresses that looked like they belonged more in a Las Vegas strip joint than on a Paris catwalk.

LiLo was brought on as 'artistic advisor' to the house of Ungaro, which was sold to a U.S. investment fund in 2005, in September (a month before the collection was shown). Also new to the creative team was head designer Estrella Archs, who was hired just a few months prior to Lohan.

Ungaro also told the public that the house he gave up is "in the process of losing its soul," reports the source. "It happens to a lot of designers. We were the creators and patrons, responsible for the creation and destiny of our houses. But when we gave up our houses, we gave up our souls."

Hopefully, the current owners will think twice about La Lohan making a runway encore next season... Looks like leggings and tanning mist may be more her thing.

We'll have to wait for the verdict on mom Dina Lohan's shoe line launching next year.
