When worn right, nude lipstick is always in style. Eva Mendes proved this beauty tenant to be true at the MOCA New 30th Anniversary Gala in Los Angeles on November 14th.

The sandy pinky shade she chose made her skin glow and looked gorgeous with her long, dark lashes and sparkly white eye shadow. We especially love the nude lipstick with her feathery black head gear, as anything other than the lady-like shade may have appeared garish against the showy plumes.

Hats (or should we say clothing) off to Eva for nailing the naked lip - nude shades are often hard to pull off, as the wrong tone can magically turn your skin gray in a single slick.
