Getting Purse-onal - The Seven Day Black Purse Project

I previously recommended my picks for the three handbags every woman should own -- a black clutch, a medium-sized work bag and a larger day tote/weekender.

But just because you own one ideal work bag, doesn't mean you can't give it several unique looks.

In fact, "styling" your handbag is the perfect way to maximize usage and decrease your CPW (cost per wear).

That's why I'm embarking on my Seven Day Black Purse Project.

The challenge is simple, so I encourage you to try it with me. Here's the plan:

Carry my Foley+Corinna Jet Setter Jr. Tote, $528; shopbop (substitute your everyday bag here) for a week, which, in and of itself is a challenge for me, considering I own over 50 bags and change them daily... sometimes multiple times.
Style my bag in a unique, on-trend and totally fabulous way each morning, using accessories including scarves, chain necklaces, faux pearls, pins, charms and even a tassel key chain (not all at once, of course).
Document my Seven Day Black Purse Project in my next "Getting Purse-onal" column.
Prove to the world that one handbag has endless possibilities.
