Coco Rocha Launching Fashion Line
When the economy gets rough, it's time to diversify.
Model Coco Rocha is known for her runway stomp, fashionable pout and cat-eyed stare, but now the Canadian model is adding designer to her resume.
Joining the ranks of models turned designers Kate Moss, Angela Lindvall, Amber Valletta and Claudia Schiffer, Rocha is jumping on the design bandwagon pretty early on in her career. (Could the supermodels of old snatching up luxury campaigns have something to do with it?)
The 21-year-old announced via her blog Oh So Coco that she is launching a fashion line. Aside from flaunting some serious drawing chops (see above video), the model is calling on readers to come up with her brand's name.
After 308 comments on the blog and counting, suggestions have included "Rochoco," "Oh So Coco," "Tuque," "Stepdancers" and the simple "Coco." (But good luck getting that one past Chanel's lawyers!)
Rocha may share a famous first name with Coco Chanel, but actress Audrey Tautou knows a thing or two about capturing Coco.

Looking all the legal things that will be and are attached to name Coco I think (Rocha) will be so good and you can say Rocha by Coco Rocha. It will be so instant recognize by your name. Something different other then your name like William Rast by Justin Timberlake is little off the recognized name. You realy have to tell customers that it is justin Timberlake. So good luck. We are with you.
