It'll be a happy holiday for the mascara-obsessed.
This December Estée Lauder is packing six of their mascaras with darker, richer pigments, to give lashes a more dramatic black shade than their normal fringe formulas. The mascaras are sold together, as the star product in their Blacker Than Black Collection, which the company is introducing for Holiday 2009.
Estée Lauder's scientists figured out how to put pure black pigments through an ultrasonic process in order to give them a deep, inky color you usually don't find outside of falsies.
The mascaras are limited edition but we predict people going crazy for them, followed by Lauder making at least one of the formulas permanently available. After all, what woman isn't looking for the blackest mascara possible?
Perfect for the dramatic, goth-y makeup trend that's happening right now, Lauder also has a new Signature Eye Shadow Quad in Black Smoke, which gives you everything you need to create a sultry, vampire-esque smoky eye.
Look for the Blacker Than Black Collection on esteelauder.com starting December 7.
