Accordingly, the designer has partnered with Natalie Massenet's Net-A-Porter.com to create a limited edition of rainbow bright dresses.
These dresses -- called the RM by Roland Mouret Rainbow Project -- are available in rose, turquoise, mango, magenta, tangerine, celadon and navy. And in a departure for Mouret, the hemlines are shorter than he usually opts for.
"I wanted to do something really fresh with bright colors for cruise," Mouret told WWD. "This collection is for young girls. It's easy to wear and to take from daytime into cocktail hour."
The dresses range in price from $1,495 to $3,070 and are available in seven different styles, each offered in one or two colors.
Almost more importantly, the designer has also created a foundation garment -- the Mini Powermesh Dress -- using his structured powermesh fabric that made his 2005 Galaxy dress a favorite. The miracle girdle, if you will, is available in nude for $475.
