Vogue Italia's December cover is Twitpic central.

It's official: Twitter is taking over the world.

Well, Vogue Italia, at least.

The always envelope-pushing fashion tome's December cover is a collage of TwitPics featuring scrapbook-worthy supermodel shots, as reported by FabSugar UK.

Photographer Steven Meisel reportedly assembled the collage starring Lara Stone, Christy Turlington, Kasia Struss, Natalia Vodianova and Gisele Bundchen.

The unusual cover is sure to be a divisive one -- pitting fashion purists against tech-loving trendsetters.

Our only concern: That the articles will be limited to 140 characters.

So, is the cover just the magazine's way of keeping up with the times, or do you think it's too techy? Leave a comment!
