Victoria Beckham is said to be devastated following news that her spring/summer dress collection was stolen while in transit to high-end retailer Neiman Marcus, according to the Daily Mail.
The shipment reportedly contained 50 to 75 dresses and is valued at £350,000 (approximately $575,000).
The van containing the collection had left 19 Entertainment's London offices when it was broken into as the driver made a delivery, the paper reports.
When the driver returned to his vehicle, robbers reportedly knocked him down and ran off with the fashionable frocks.
"This operation was meticulously planned," a source told the British paper. "The thieves must feel they can make a fortune selling the collection on the black market.
"Victoria was informed straight away about the incident and was shocked and deeply saddened, although her first priority was the well-being of the driver."
Beckham's spokeswoman told the paper that the matter was being investigated by police, and that Beckham hoped that the collection could be remade in time to hit Neiman Marcus' shelves.
In the meantime, Beckham dress-obsessed Elle Macpherson might want to start working on an alibi.
It hasn't been all bad news for Victoria Beckham of late. She's set to relaunch her denim line.
