Have $22,000 to spare? Then Nordstrom has the perfect holiday gift for the discerning fashionista in your life.

The national retailer has gone against this holiday season's conventional recession approach and is instead offering extravagant 'Extraordinary Experiences' ... albeit, at jaw-dropping prices.

Naturally, our favorites of the six gift "packages" are the fashion-themed ones.

For starters, $22,230 will buy a loved one (or oneself) a stunning couture wedding gown designed by First Lady favorite, Jason Wu.

The price tag includes two trips to New York City to meet with Wu and his team -- the first for a consultation and the second, a final fitting -- along with a pair of Manolo Blahnik shoes for the big day, Josie Natori lingerie for the wedding night and makeup for the entire bridal party, courtesy of Nordstrom.

Another gift for the style-inclined is a $21,550 package comprised of an Isabel Toledo atelier tour, a one-of-a-kind look by the designer, a signed sketch of said outfit by Toledo's artist husband, Ruben, and lunch with the two at their favorite Manhattan restaurant.

"Our customers are responding to either value or truly unique items at this time," explains Pete Nordstrom, President of Merchandising for the department store. "Some customers want something they don't already have or something they can't find anywhere else. We're offering customers these very special, one-of-a-kind experiences and for the right person, these may be the perfect gift."

Um, here's hoping we're one of those "right" people.

With sales starting in November, some of the "experiences" -- 12 custom VIP Michael Buble concert packages priced at $6,150 each and three VIP Grammy Awards experiences at $14,710 per package -- are already sold out. One Super Bowl package worth $18,900 has also been snapped up.

Just who is spending that kind of money this season? We're not sure. But one can certainly dream by visiting shop.nordstrom.com/extraordinary and drooling over the awe-inducing options.
