Every December, a crowd of gallerinas, collectors and art fans jet south for Art Basel's Miami Beach fair. On the schedule is a hefty dose of culture (courtesy of blue-chip galleries like Gagosian and White Cube), satellite fair NADA, a little sun, and a lot of parties. This year, these scenesters packed short-shorts, black and white stripes, and flowy mini-dresses as practical and stylish solutions for the rounds of beachside affairs. For evening, peek-a-boo cut-out dresses offered an added benefit in the steamy weather: ventilation. On hand to capture the fashionable coterie was photographer Elizabeth Lippman.
