When it comes to fashion, Chloe Sevigny doesn't always score high marks. But at a party in New York City in July 2009, she hit a beauty home run. Her fiery lips looked spectacular with a few simple swipes of mascara and blush.

Tip: A fiery coral lip can be difficult to pull off. If you choose to go bold, look for a shade with a red base like Sevigny's. They tend to flatter most complexions.

Soft coral lips are quickly becoming a popular alternative to flesh-toned nudes. Christina Ricci opted for the warm wearable shade at a Los Angeles movie premiere.

Tip: Soft, warm corals instantly help create the illusion of a fuller lip (thanks to their flesh-toned color). To plump it up even more, apply a clear gloss in the center of the lips. The light reflection from the gloss will make them appear even more full.
