Turns out Christmas with the POTUS (President of the United States) and FLOTUS is twice as nice.

After returning from the Nobel Peace Prize awards on Friday, the First Couple celebrated Christmas early.

President Obama and Michelle Obama headed to the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. where they were joined by darling little elves.

Sticking to the individual style choices she's become famous for, Michelle Obama forwent holiday's typical red and green in favor of classic black in an Isabel Toledo plunging V-neck dress with banded waist and full pleated skirt.

She paired the formal frock with her recent hairstyle of choice, an upswept do, signature stack of bangles and statement-making black stone studs and simple black heels.

Apparently, for the power couple, X-Mas comes more than once a year: "Christmas at the White House: An Oprah Primetime Special" aired last night on ABC.

For TV, the First Lady wore a form-fitting plum velvet number by Azzedine Alaïa and accessorized with a classic double strand of pearls and diamond stud earrings.

Leading Oprah around the White House, the two encountered First Dog Bo, who has officially learned how to high-five.

Michelle also dished to the media mogul on memorable childhood holiday gifts (watch above video).
