Space NK has become the go-to destination for all things gorgeous and luxurious in beauty.

So if you still need a secret Santa present/hostess gift/stocking stuffer, you could pretty much pick something at random from their artfully arranged shelves and feel confidant that the recipient will love it.

We recently chatted with owner Nicky Kinnaird at Space NK's New York City location to dish about the key items this holiday season and to find out a few of her favorite things.

"What we're seeing is luxury at any price point," explained Kinnaird. "Even if it's a bar of soap it's the most luxurious bar of soap."

MOR Emporium Triple Milled Soaps smell heavenly and come wrapped in beautiful paper -- you don't even have to wrap it.

Speaking of heavenly scents, NK Candles fill the room with rich, unique fragrance -- no overly floral, cloying scents here. "Wild Iris is like walking into the most amazing florist," explained Kinnaird. Indeed, although there are notes of peony and jasmine with the iris, the overall feeling is fresh and green.

One of Kinnaird's favorite finds is Rococo Nail Apparel -- nail polishes from the UK in cool colors and free from any toxic chemicals.

"They make the only metallics I've seen that don't look trashy," said Kinnaird. "Rococo has the most incredible palette -- from classic colors to fashion colors."

And as for Kinnaird herself, one of her personal faves is By Terry Touche Eclat De Teint, which conceals dark circles and discolorations with illumination rather than opaque pigments, so the face looks young and fresh.

"No one understands light reflection like Terry. When I travel this is the one thing I go crazy about if I find I've left it behind," said Kinnaird.
