Your casual footwear collection is about to get très chic.

Why? Because a certain fabulous French designer by the name of Jean Paul Gaultier is stepping up to the shoe design plate and teaming with French footwear brand Pataugas on three pairs of sneakers for the company's Summer 2010 collection, WWD reports.

Can we get a "oui, oui" up in here?

The sporty kicks are reportedly inspired by Breton stripes and fishnets, suggesting a beachy, effortlessly French aesthetic that we can't wait to get our hooks into.

Available for men and women, the shoes will range from approximately $199 to $256 and will be sold at both Pataugas and Jean Paul Gaultier shops, according to the source.

Last year, Pataugas reportedly collaborated with agnès b., so Gaultier is in good company.
