Kohl's is not coming Manhattan. The retailer was hot on the heels of competitor JCPenney's splashy debut in Herald Square, but has since cooled interest in the 33,000 sq. ft. space at 1775 Broadway its been eying, reports WWD.
One real estate source told the fashion news site, "They've scrapped Manhattan."
Though, reportedly, the department store is still hunting for a space in one of the New York City boroughs.
Which means to get a peek at LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl's collection in person, you'll have to arrive in bridge-and-tunnel fashion.
