Just like those fashion trends that should go away -- ugly Christmas sweaters and mom jeans come to mind, Lindsay Lohan does not seem to be leaving the style spotlight anytime soon.

After a disastrous debut as artistic adviser at Emanuel Ungaro (where the CEO who hired her resigned) La Lohan is going full fashion steam ahead with her 6126 leggings line.

The actress-slash-designer is expanding 6126 (named after Marilyn Monroe's birth date) and announced via Twitter: "i need MORE followers i am so sad about this, how can i tell everyone about my 6126 full collection COMING OUT! all clothing."

We're forecasting that the line's trademark stretchy leggings will soon be joined by Lycra tops and skintight dresses, to complete that off-duty stripper we all desperately desire.

UPDATE: WWD reports that 6126 will launch a full clothing line in Fall 2010 and a cosmetics line, handbags, shoes, jewelry in Spring 2011. The apparel line will consist of 100 pieces with average prices falling between $100 and $150, while the accessories collection will comprise of 150 selections. It will retail at Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Nordstrom and specialty stores nationwide and internationally.

The critics may have had their field day with Lohan's fashion aspirations, but this girl is no stranger to controversy.
