We've reached the final stretch of the holiday season and, admittedly, we're a train wreck.

After a month of relentless parties and ceaseless eating, we're fat and tired. But the biggest party is yet to come: New Year's Eve. From a beauty perspective, it's just not fair!

So we caught up with Dr. Robert Freund, author of the new book A More Beautiful You: Reverse Aging Through Skin Care, Plastic Surgery and Lifestyle Solutions, and our Post Your Face expert, for his top ways to whip yourself back into festive shape -- fast -- for New Years. Read on for his tips on hangover cures, glowing skin, and a natural way to plump your lips.

Take an Acid Trip: People don't realize how much moisture is leached from the skin after showering and washing their hair. Salicylic acid -- found in facial creams, gels and cleansers -- is the must-have product this winter; it's an exfoliant and anti-inflammatory for sensitive, thin skin and it improves collagen and the thickness of skin without drying it out.

Get The Red Out: If you wake up with a pimple, Visine will take the red out. Apply a dab to the blemish. Then, using a small brush, stroke a bit of oil-free concealer in a circle around the pimple. Blend the edges out with a Q-tip, and dab a tiny bit more concealer on top. Blot very lightly with a tissue.

Love Your Locks: If you're a brunette and your hair color looks flat, mix a teaspoon of Hershey's unsweetened cocoa into your palm with a few squirts of shampoo and wash your hair. It will make the color look richer, more lustrous, and, well, more delicious!

Don't Forget Your Eyebrows: Eyebrows are often overlooked, but are essential for giving shape to your face. If you have skinny brows, use a thin brush and eye shadow to give a natural soft look. If you have bushier brows, dampen with hairspray and comb them down with an old toothbrush.

What an Eye Opener: To de-puff the area around your eyes, use a good night eye cream, patting not under the eyes but the upper cheek bones. Another tip is to sleep with your head elevated so less fluid accumulates around the eye area.

Hangover Quick Fix:
One too many late-night Christmas parties? Your eyes are a dead giveaway: Keep a spoon in the fridge and in the morning hold the cold back of it against your eyes for 20 seconds. It reduces fluid and makes the eyes wider.

Pucker Up: For a natural plumped look for the lips, moisten a bit of cinnamon and rub it on your lips before you apply lipstick.
