It looks like the first sites will serve European countries, according to WWD, but still, this is good news for the fashion-obsessed who are also tied to their laptops.
The move is one of several developments from the so-called "fast fashion" retailers coming up in the new year, as the popular retailers look for ways to expand their markets even further. What we can look forward to:
- At H&M: Continued designer collaborations, like the Jimmy Choo line that knocked the socks off fashionistas worldwide last month.
- At Uniqlo, further rollout this spring of +J, a higher-priced line by Jil Sander. Look for it Jan. 14 at the Manhattan store, the Uniqlo Web site says! And in Japan, Uniqlo will also expand its low-cost g.u. chain.
- And Mango, as previously reported, will open"MNG by Mango" stores inside JCPenney stores across the U.S.
