Zara will start making its collection available online in select countries in 2010, WWD reports today.

It looks like the first sites will serve European countries, according to WWD, but still, this is good news for the fashion-obsessed who are also tied to their laptops.

The move is one of several developments from the so-called "fast fashion" retailers coming up in the new year, as the popular retailers look for ways to expand their markets even further. What we can look forward to:

  • At H&M: Continued designer collaborations, like the Jimmy Choo line that knocked the socks off fashionistas worldwide last month.
  • At Uniqlo, further rollout this spring of +J, a higher-priced line by Jil Sander. Look for it Jan. 14 at the Manhattan store, the Uniqlo Web site says! And in Japan, Uniqlo will also expand its low-cost g.u. chain.
  • And Mango, as previously reported, will open"MNG by Mango" stores inside JCPenney stores across the U.S.
Good stuff. Fast. See you at the shops.
